Website/Portal Standard Design Package |
The package gives you a fully functional commercial website and also provides the ability to control it yourself adding and changing products at will, including thumbnails
and close up images. You can post news items and send mailings to your members. The site includes full order tracking with customer notification at various stages throughout the process.
The package assumes you already have an ISP who can support Active Server Pages and email with at least 20mb of space. We can provide advice and guidance with obtaining an ISP at
no extra cost should you need it.

Catalogue System |
The catalogue system includes information regarding stock levels, price, weight, a description for each product
and as many images for each piece as you require. Products are grouped into ranges with each range having a logo
and description should it be necessary. The buttons automatically change from "Add to cart" to "Order" when the stock
runs out. The catalogue system is fully manageable by you, with you being able to add or edit ranges and products at
your discretion. You can upload the images and logos yourself too.

Shopping Cart |
A fully functional shopping cart to allow your visitors to buy as much or as little as required. You can also monitor
the shopping carts that have not been taken to "checkout" stage so you can see the products or members who are not buying to help you
acertain why.

Automated Shipping Rate Calculator |
The system stores a comprehensive set of shipping rates that you can maintain yourself, these used in conjuction with the
weights of your products will automatically calculate the shipping cost no matter where in the world you are sending.

Credit Cards |
Our system will accept and validate credit cards based on the accepted formula. The credit card details will be attached to each
order if they are supplied and can be deleted after processing for security purposes. You will need to have a merchant account to be able to process these details.

Secure Server |
All transactions relating to the maintenance of the site and order processing can be carried out on a secure server.
You will need to obtain a secure server certificate if you wish to do this, they can be obtained from Thawte or Verisign
or similar company, and your ISP will usually do this on your behalf.

Currency Convertor |
All prices and subtotals have a link to a currency convertor so international customers can compare the prices in their
own currency.
|
Order Control |
You have full control over the orders, and can set discounts on an order by order basis, control the status and attach
comments so your customers know exactly what stage their order is at.

Member System |
There is a comprehensive profiling system which stores address, email and mailing list information of each member.
Any ordering can be carried out quickly and easily with no need for them to input delivery information each time they order. The system also stores
order information so members can log in and see the status of their orders at any time. You can also attach comments to
each order so your customers know exactly what is happening with their order.

Remote Administration |
A very important feature of the package is that the whole system can be administered over the internet, therefore you can
run your outlet from home, when at friends, during an office move or even on holiday.

Mailing List |
The system allows you to create mailing lists and lets your members subscribe and unsubscribe themelves in their profile.
Using the subscription report you can see how many people are subscribed to each mailing list, and can easily send information
regarding each range targetted at the people who really are interested.

Market Research |
There is a market research section where you can see the answers to market research questions of your choice, this allows you to
build up picture of what is working, what isnt, what you should do next etc. etc. Customers will be given the opportunity to fill
in this questionnaire upon completion of an order or from the homepage.

Special Promotions |
This section of the site allows you to run themed promotions and special ranges. This is set out from the rest of the site.
It is managed and updated in the same way as the standard catalogue but provides a way for you to spotlight certain goods.

Automated Linking Facility |
One of the very common ways internet sites promote themselves is by the use of reciprocol links, which is where you provide
links to related sites and they provide links back. This is a very efficient way of generating traffic. Our system allows people
to request links on your site by filling in a simple form which you can then manage yourself by simply activating the link when
you see they have provided a reciprocol link on their site. These links can be categorised and they are automatically notified by
email when you have activated a link. You can even send a reminder to them that they haven't yet provided a link back.

There is a comprehensive set of help pages to guide your visitors through the buying process and all other sections of the site.

Site Search |
There is a built in search facility so visitors can find exactly what they want rather than browsing through the entire catalogue.

Contact Form |
The contact page can contain comprehensive information of how to contact you and will also include a contact form so visitors
can simply fill in a message box and send you an email, rather than having to type out an email and send it that way. We know
that people are much more likely to contact you if it is very easy.

News Page |
There is a news page that is again manageable by you so you can provide up-to date information to your visitors on a minute by
minute basis should you require.

Usage Report |
There is a usage report that will show you statistics for your members, when they joined, how many times and when they last
visited.

Messaging |
Some people do not want to provide their email address, and this can be frustrating when you want to notify someone of a change
to the site, a problem with an order or some exciting news. You can send messages to any of your members through the messaging
system. The next time your member logs on they will see a "you have messages" notification.
